Cotton Bay Beach is in South Eleuthera and is very easy to get to from the Queen’s Highway outside of Rock Sound. The road’s are all in very good condition so you can get here even in a regular car without any issues. It is located at the former Cotton Bay Club which is now defunct and on the Atlantic side of the island.
Below is a map with a red line showing how you get there and you enter from the Queen’s highway at the road between the Cotton Bay signs. The road is in excellent condition. It’s about 7 miles or so outside of Rock Sound and will be on your left if going south.
As you can see from the photos it is a long beach that is good for walking at low tide and there is shade along the edge and at the parking area.
As you may gather from the photos, there doesn’t appear to be much in the way of shelling but a great beach for walking and shelling. There also aren’t many houses on the beach but due to it’s easy acess I would assume that at times you may encounter other people. We didn’t the day we were there.
