Coconut trees are great to look at and everyone loves seeing them in the tropics but there’s a downside. They have to be trimmed and cleaned. In order for them to continue to produce new coconuts the palm fronds and coconuts have to be removed from the tree. Now when they are little it’s not all that bad but when they get tall it’s a procedure. Not to mention they are filled with ants that don’t like you messing with their home and tons of dust and dirt that gets in your eyes. Here’s a short timelapse piece showing how they start and what they look like when they have been trimmed.
